The early morning air filled the demon’s lungs as the sun crept up from beyond the surrounding forest, the dew sparkling like diamonds on the front lawn. Laurent took in the property, having stayed up the previous night inspecting each and every fountain, flowerbed, and statue for imperfection, and if one happened to be found, fixing it immediately; for nothing was too good for the Savage marquess. Golden orbs shifted to the sun dial, the shadow laid across the 7 mark. 7 a.m., it was time to wake the young master. With a snide and devious smile, the butler strode elegantly into the mansion, the other servants seeing him and dispersing immediately, making Laurent chuckle. ”Humans…” he remarked to himself as he climbed the grand staircase up to his master’s chamber.

A light knock sounded as a gloved knuckle tapped against the wooden bedroom door. Taking a hold of the golden handle, Laurent entered the young marquess’ room. ”Good morning young master. It is time to rise; we can’t be sleeping all day now…” he said, matter-of-factly as he drew the curtains away from the windows, allowing the yellow light to flood the large room. The demon’s pale skin seemed even more cadaverous in the light, the only sign that the man was indeed inhuman. His eyes flicked to Damian, the brunette boy looking even more childish in his nightgown and sleeping stupor. A low rumble of chuckles resounded from the butler as he stepped nearer to the boy, standing over him and smiling brightly. ”You have a busy day ahead of you, master. Best not waste any time.”

A groan was the only reply Laurent received from the otherwise unconscious boy in the bed. Face buried in his pillow, dark chocolate hair tussled and tossed about, blankets twisted halfway down his body as if he had gotten into a fight with them in the middle of the night. Top buttons of his nightgown had come undone, allowing the shirt to half slide off his pale shoulder, the bottom curling around his thighs in an almost suggestive manner... Damian was really quit a mess in the beginnings of the day. Green-gold eyes slowly peeked out from dark lashes as he turned his head slightly, squinting at the light that flooded in from his window before it was blocked by the shadow of his new butler. "I'd rather sleep all day..." the boy murmured, once again closing his eyes before he heaved a heavy and rather dramatic sigh, warm breath passing his full lips before he rolled onto his back, staring at the older male with narrowed eyes. Damian hated mornings. He hated waking from restless sleep, still tired despite the amount of time that had passed, he hated everyone being so annoyingly chipper when greeting him as he went to breakfast. Today, he intended to avoid the happy servants first thing in the morning. The only one he couldn't avoid was standing over his bedside like a guarding tower."I suppose you're right. Wasting time is wasting life..." He sat up, a reached a hand upward, intending to run it through his wayward hair, till something on his palm caught his eye. It strange how a single night of sleep could allow someone to forget something so important. The mark sat, clear as day, in the center of his hand. Damian stared at it for a moment, before lowering his hand back to his lap, shifting slightly in his spot. "I don't suppose a Mr. Anderson called to cancel that ridiculous meeting he wants about his shares?" He doubted it. The man was beyond pushy and demanded that Damian should sell his share of the Savage company. Oh no, the by would never do that. In fact, he intended to remove the man from the board personally here soon. [/style]

The only answer the butler received was a sleepy groan, the sound more erotic than threatening to the Laurent’s ears. ”Hm…” he uttered, studying the boy’s unkempt appearance- definitely not what Laurent had expected from the head of the Savage company. The boy rolled over, revealing his half-buttoned nightgown that hung loosely from his small frame. The scene would’ve been exciting to any person in Laurent’s position, but the demon kept a straight face, fighting the urge to keep the boy in bed all day. ”I see… well then, perhaps the young master should not stay awake so late when there is important business to attend to the following day,” the man suggested, pulling out the drawer of the armoire situated beside Damian’s bed. He sifted through the young man’s clothes, picking an outfit suitable for the day, and laying it out on the chaise at the foot of the bed.

”I’m assuming you did not rest well?” Laurent asked, stepping back to the edge of the bed which the boy laid. The demon had heard the rustling of the teenager in his bed all night, but had been too busy with perfecting the estate to attend to the lad; for that, he was terribly sorry. Damian spoke, his metaphor intriguing the demon. What life? he thought, a dark grin pressing his lips. ”Quite right, master!” He watched as the boy lifted his hand, no doubt catching a glimpse of his new mark. The sight of the artwork stained on the child sent a new ripple of desire through Laurent, the demon inadvertently licking his lips hungrily.

A fatigued voice brought the demon back to reality, golden eyes snapping back to green-gold ones. ”If you’d like, young master… I could have the occasion moved to a later date.” The demon’s eyes burned with the determination to keep the boy where he was for the rest of the day as he leaned over the bedside to comb long, slender fingers through chocolate locks. Snickering, he teased the boy: ”such a child, I must say…” he whispered charmingly, now moving his gloved hand down to the teen’s bare shoulder. Instead of fixing the imperfection in the article of clothing, he fingered the sleeve, lowering it off of the boy’s shoulder even further as he stared into dreary, yet hierarchal eyes.

There was no real spite to the words, no anger or hostility. It was almost a natural response for the aristocrat, looking down on those who served him. Sad but true. "No, I did not. In fact, I dare say I hardly rested at all..." A yawn followed, quickly muffled by Damian's slender hand, which was soon lower back to the boys lap. Of course, this lack of sleep was becoming a habit it seemed. Damian didn't expect it to improve anytime soon. The teenager managed to rub his cat-like eyes his his drooping sleeve, missing the hungry little action his new butler displayed. "Sadly, I do know better than to cancel at this point. He'll simply complain childishly." He thought about the suggestion as he sat there midst the twisted sheets and comforters, turning his gaze back on Laurent as the man's hand stroked through him hair, down his pale cheek, and even further to the exposed skin of his shoulder. A thin, brown brow quirked, curiosity and something dark glittering in his strange eyes as he watched the golden eyed male carefully. "Did something catch your attention, Laurent?" Damian question, his voice slowly loosing its sleepy edge, his tone becoming slightly teasing as the older male's finger continued to toy with his clothing. [/style]

The teen spat back at the butler with meaningless jabs, Damian’s sarcastic spite never seeming to disappear. Although, Laurent only lifted a brow at his young master when he admitted he had not slept well, the demon bowing his head. ”I am sorry for that, young master. For I was not near to comfort you…”

[/b] His apology was sincere enough, but his golden eyes were smiling with ulterior motives. The boy emitted a yawn; could it really have been called…cute? Laurent averted his eyes as he felt a familiar twinge in his chest, the sight of the lustrous boy holding too much temptation for the demon to handle. If he slipped up now, there would be no returning to normal- he had seen this play out too many times before. Ahh yes, this was why he avoided choosing children.

Fortunately for the demon, the teen was not keen on canceling his appointment, Laurent a bit thankful that his intentions had been diverted by the plans. However, a dark desire still loomed inside of him, and the suggestive eye that he caught as he slid the sleeve all the way down Damian’s arm only made it worse. The demon’s mouth was a grim line as he contemplated his next move, one that could potentially decide his future plans for the child. His master’s voice hinted a tease, golden-green eyes sparkling with his usual mischief and seduction. The corners of Laurent’s mouth curved into a smirk as he replied, ”Perhaps…”[/b]

Laurent paused, eyes trailing down Damian’s arm to his hips, and then down his legs, taking in every inch of the boy. He leaned in to place parted velvet lips to the marquess’ bare shoulder, enhanced senses smelling and tasting the human’s sweet skin. Lids lowered, the demon spoke bewitchingly into the smooth skin; ”Young master is so…tasty.”[/b] The butler lifted his master’s arm, lips trailing down the limb until they reached his hand, golden eyes glowing with tenacity. He had decided; the answer would make it easier to choose his actions. He would get what he wanted.

"You're forgiven." Its not as if he would say 'Its not your fault,' even if it wasn't Laurent's fault. Pride is what kept him this way. Pride and something else he couldn't quit understand, or could truly recognize. Dominance maybe? A need to control every aspect of his household. Could he truly control this man at his side, this demon? With the mark on his hand, the creature was bound to his every order, every command. So, in one light, yes, he could control the butler. But, who was the true master here? Damian had never expected such boldness from another man, let alone his own servant. He could feel a ripple of tension tare through him, the hair of the back of his neck rising at the sudden contact on his flesh. He stared at the older male openly, only the lightest amount of surprise showing in his cat-like eyes. The sleeve was removed, leaving the teen practically half bare. It wasn't the exposure that surprised him. No. The man had dressed and redressed him the night before. It was the feeling of Laurent's silken lips sliding down his skin that aroused a strange, warm sensation to rise in Damian's lower abdomen. His head turned away from the slight fora moment, hiding the flustered feeling that welled inside him. It only took a moment, just one for him to compose himself and begin to speak."You say such a thing so boldly and yet..." Most would expect reprise from such a powerful young man, even some for a disgusted from one who had been previously abused by humans of his own gender. Instead, a sly smirk curled over his pale lips as he turned his gaze back onto his butler, eyes gleeming with mischeif. "The only thing you have taste is my skin." [/style]

Laurent could feel the heat of the skin beneath his lips rise only slightly, spiking the demon’s interest. Damian’s sleeve dangled off his side, his arm completely free of its confines, now being held in the larger grasp of the older man. Eyes closed, the demon familiarized himself with the boy’s every smell and sound, the taunting tone growing. However, his remark had not come until after he turned away- why had he done that? Could it be that this was boring the young master? If so, then Laurent knew just the trick to recall his attention.

He chuckled deeply, tugging on Damian’s arm and pulling the boy in closer to him. ”Then…”

[/b] he cupped the boy’s cheek, staring into his eyes deeply, ”allow me to taste more… master.”[/b] His words were smooth and husky, yet serious as he gently dropped the boy’s arm to push him back a bit, laying him carefully down on his back and hovering over him. The hand moved to Damian’s upper thigh, sliding the nightgown up his leg further. ”Now, what was it you said about preferring to stay in bed all day? I am sure that can be arranged if you so desire…”

The butler’s looming presence would’ve been quite intimidating to anyone, but he wasn’t so sure if his young master would fall victim to his charm as easily as those in the past. No matter; Laurent would just have to work harder in order to seduce the boy to his liking.

Those eyes burned with knowing as Damian spread himself out under the hungry butler, his motives purely clear. Laurent smiled slyly at his master's question, pondering it before answering. "Hmm... with something so appetizing, it will prove quite the challenge. However, surely master knows it is rude to merely have a taste of one's dish, especially when it is laid out so ravishingly before you..."

The man was playing right into the boy's hands, but he minded not; this game of lust was proving to be something Laurent quite enjoyed, and he was sure that this would not be the only time he bedded the boy like this.

His master chuckled, causing the butler to quirk a questioning brow at the amusement. His smile darkened, and the curtains he had previously opened slid closed on their own, sheltering the two from the orange light and leaving them in the black. Craning his neck, Laurent spoke, barely audible, into Damian's ear- the man loosening his muscles and laying on top of the boy. "Let them think the worst... for, perhaps they're right..."[/b]

Golden eyes glowed in the new darkness as husky breaths were blown lewdly into the wanton boy's ear. Sharp, demonic teeth grazed the top of the marquess' ear as the older man growled playfully, his hand now massaging the teen's hip-bone. "Do you do it on purpose?"[/b] he asked vaguely, taunting Damian to question what exactly he meant before the demon answered it himself. "Look so... alluring..." Laurent's free hand began unbuttoning more of the child's gown, slowly continuing to slide the measly piece of cloth off of him.

His smirk didn't leave him, chest rising and falling with deep, slow breaths.
